THE RACE

This project began as a visual exploration of dark thoughts, identity and isolation.
The initial set and character design were created by frainco.lopez, whose distinct aesthetic laid the foundation for the world and its central figures.
Building on this, I expanded the scenes and developed the narrative further as art director, shaping the visual language into a cohesive story with the final goal of translating still imagery into a cinematic video sequence. What started as a series of AI-generated images evolved into a structured storyline driven by atmosphere, pacing and emotional progression.

STORYBOARD:
The story follows a solitary albino man moving through a cold world, where surface and appearance replace genuine connection. His white Ferrari F40 becomes both a symbol of control and an escape from an underlying sense of emptiness. Surrounded by glitter, speed and night, he appears untouchable, yet disconnected. During one restless night, this isolation is briefly interrupted when he encounters another man. There is an unexpected moment of closeness, shaped by shared time, subtle attraction and the illusion of something real. For a short while, the distance between them seems to dissolve.
This fragile connection begins to shift as underlying intentions surface. What felt mutual reveals itself as one-sided, and the emotional imbalance becomes impossible to ignore.
The tension escalates into confrontation, and the albino loses control.
The encounter collapses, leaving him exposed and unable to reconcile expectation with reality. What follows is not resolution, but descent. Alone again, he spirals further, seeking distraction and escape in destructive behavior that only amplifies his inner void.
In the final act, the illusion of control is completely stripped away.
The car that once represented status and protection turns into an extension of his downfall. Faced with the truth and its consequences, he makes a radical decision that transforms the entire narrative into an act of self-destruction.
The story closes on this irreversible moment, leaving behind the question of whether the fire is an end or the beginning of something new.
