SAFARI

This series began with the vision of an all white Y2K fashion editorial set in a desert environment with camels. The intention was to create a reduced monochrome visual world where fashion and character design take center stage. The characters were initially developed in Midjourney. Five distinct figures were created, featuring deliberately pronounced mullet inspired hairstyles as well as two male characters that combine both feminine and masculine elements. The exploration of gender fluidity forms an important conceptual layer within the series.

The scenes were later developed and refined using Gemini while maintaining a consistent visual language. The fashion follows a modern hyper feminine avant garde aesthetic also inspired by the brand Namilia. Ultra low rise pants in denim or leather are combined with extremely cropped structured tops that sculpt the waist and create a body hugging silhouette. Subtle cut outs at the waist and hips, matte materials and minimal metallic hardware emphasize the architectural quality of the garments. The color palette remains strictly monochrome and entirely within a white spectrum.

The result is a contemporary editorial series where Y2K references, gender fluidity and reduced high fashion aesthetics merge. The mix of denim and leather, the sharp silhouettes and the strictly monochrome palette create a modern visual language situated between digital fashion creation and editorial fashion imagery.
