MEMENTO
In this series I have created a modern fashion editorial set in a luxurious dark gothic baroque interior, merging contemporary silhouettes with strong corset aesthetics, structured bodices, sculpted waistlines and refined décolleté emphasis, using matte textures in cool monochromatic tones such as deep dark green, charcoal and muted grey beige. As art director, I focused on a shadow heavy, intimate atmosphere with black walls, dark wood surfaces and controlled sculptural lighting.
I integrated vanitas and memento mori elements into the scene, including decaying apples and pears, dark grapes, antique mirrors, extinguished candles, old leather bound books, subtle skull details, wilted flowers, cracked porcelain and a calm black cat resting on the table. The result is modern, precise and editorial, sensual but restrained, captured in high resolution with a wide angle, off center composition and strong spatial depth.
